Homework:
  1. Read: "Exceeding Great & Precious Promises" by David A Bednar (October 2017 Conference)  Look for the 5 simple things we talked about last week (FHE, Prayer, Scriptures, Temple Attendance, & Sabbath Day)
  2. Read Syllabus section about each color (Red, Blue, White, Yellow). ​
    1. Do you agree with the answer/color you received from the test?
    2. Look at your children & spouse.  You can't "label" them this week only.
    3. Take one of them and look up their color and see the best way to deal with them. 
    4. Change something this week with that person.  Does it make a difference?

Homework:
  1. Read "Make The Exercise of Your Faith Your Priority" by Richard G. Scott---Read all the footnotes.  Take a piece of paper and fold it in half.  Write "To Do" on one side and "Blessings on the other.  Pick one to do with exactness for 1 week from when you start. 
  2. Ponder on your Sabbath Day Observance.  What could you do to improve it. 
  3. Ponder your personal prayers.  Think about how you are praying.  Is it with real intent?  Is it a meaningful experience?  Is is a real conversation?  How does He feel about talking to you in that moment?

  1. Read "Do We Trust Him?  Hard Is Good" by Stanley Ellis---Think about this as a Parenting tool and take a goal or ponder a question.
  2. Read "Raising Resilient Children" by Lyle Burrup
  3. Look at your parenting style.  Are you a coach or a referee?
