Class #8 Gratitude

Homework:

Work on prayers of gratitude. Express gratitude and then express why. Once a day have a prayer of just gratitude. Pray with real intent
Read "Remember, Remember" by President Eyring October 2007. Consider doing a gratitude journal from now until Christmas.
Write a note or letter to someone not in your family that has influenced you for good.

Class#7 Service

Homework:

Think about how you are following the prophet's counsel on reading Book of Mormon.
Review the talk & exact blessings from President Nelson October 2018.
Read "You Are My Hands" April 2010 Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Evaluate yourself in each of the roles in your life (mother, sister, daughter, ministering sister, etc) on the Service Continuum (pg 84 of the syllabus). This is not for guilt, but for awareness.
Create a family service project that will last from now until Christmas. This is to help move you from "I Want To..." to "May I" because of my love for the Savior I want to give. This project needs to require real effort.

Listen to, take notes on, create a to-do list on "Becoming Exemplary Latter-Day Saints" President Russell M. Nelson--October 2018 Conference. Accept with real intent the challenge to pray to know your spiritual gifts, expand them, and cultivate them. We will change the world.
Say 10 positives to each child each day and your spouse.
